Introduction
Ball mills are the key mining machine for grinding after the crushing process, and ball milling machines are efficient grinding mill for grinding many materials into fine powder. Ball grinding mills can be used for grinding various ore and other grinder-able materials dry or wet. According to different forms of discharging materials, The ball grinding machines are divided into grate type and overflow type, and SBM ball mills belong to grate type.
Ball mill is widely used in powder-making production line including cement, silicate, new-type building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ore dressing of ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal, glass ceramics, etc.
Features of

Ball Mills

  1. SBM ball mills mainly consist of feeding part, discharging part, gyre part, transmission part, (decelerator, small transmission gear, generator, electrical control) and so on.
  2. The hollow axis of ball grinding mill adopts the cast steel and the lining plate can replace , the rotating big gear processes in the way of casting rolling gear.
  3. The barrel body of ball grinding machine is wearable well and bears wearable scale board.
  4. SBM ball mills have the features of stable running and reliable working.

Ball Mill Working Principle

ball mills are horizontal rotating devices transmitted by the outer gear. The mining machines have two warehouses. The materials are transported by vibrating feeder to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft spirally, then enter the first warehouse. In the warehouse, there is a ladder scale board or ripple scale board. Steel balls of different specifications are installed in the scale board. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height and then fall to grind and strike the material. After being grinded coarsely in the first warehouse, the material then enters into the second warehouse for regrinding. The above action repeats constantly till the size of materials reaches the required fineness. In the end, the powder is discharges by output material board and the end products are completed.

Ball Mills Operation Rules

  1. The operators must be qualified with the required technical knowledge, receive technical training and fully understand the operating principle, performance and regulations of the ball grinding mill.
  2. The operators should follow the operate principle and lubricate the requirement parts marked in lubrication picture. Untreated waste oil may not be used and keep lubrication points clean.
  3. Pay attention to check the temperature of bearing not to exceed 60° and make sure every bolt not loose, no abnormal sound, uniform mining feed, steady water feed, normal current, voltage of motor.
  4. To keep surroundings clean where the ball grinding machine runs. Every party should be clean unless it's running.
